Rick Nordtvedt is a Senior Executive Partner with Gartner, Inc. In this role, he is a trusted advisor to C-level executives providing counsel on a variety of strategic issues including digital business, mergers and acquisitions, emerging technology, corporate and business strategy, and technology strategy. Prior to joining Gartner, Dr. Nordtvedt spent much of his technology career in corporate IT working for Fortune 500 firms. Dr. Nordtvedt has executive leadership experience in a diverse array of industries, including transportation, medical device manufacturing, financial services and defense industry consulting. Dr. Nordtvedt speaks at events frequently, primarily about digital business and strategy, and he has lectured in a number of business graduate schools including Stanford and Notre Dame. He holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the University of Memphis.
