Board member profile: Bob Hill

Bob Hill is vice president of sales U.S. region at Telmar Network Technology, a Jabil company. He joined Telmar in 2009.
Bob is actively engaged in the MTBC Talent Team, and his company has adopted a middle school to be more directly involved in influencing the future of these middle schoolers in STEM fields.
Previously Bob worked 21 years at Alcatel-Lucent, starting at DSC Communications which was later acquired by Alcatel. He served as area vice president of sales of Alcatel-Lucent for the AT&T customer account, since 1999, where various responsibilities included new business development and system engineering for Alcatel’s SONET, MSWAN, IP/Ethernet, Multi-service Access product lines. Major programs included SBC/AT&T’s rollout of it ADSL Broadband Internet Access network, followed by the AT&T U-verse IPTV network based on Fiber-To-The Node (FTTN) technology.
Prior to 1999 Bob has also served in marketing and product line management positions at Alcatel-Lucent/DSC Communications, and at Halcyon Communications from 1983 to 1987 prior to joining DSC Communications.
Bob Hill holds a BBA – telecommunications management degree from Golden Gate University.
